We’re thrilled to share that we have a special series of workshops coming up in March with the one and only Merilyn Duff.

Merilyn is a proud Trawlwoolway woman and a highly respected local Elder, and we are incredibly fortunate that she has offered to share her skills and knowledge through three weaving workshops, held locally at the Hub. Opportunities like this would sell out instantly in Melbourne, having it here in our own community is truly something special.

Join us for Basic Knitting Skills, the first class in our beginner Learn to Knit series!

This foundational workshop is designed for absolute beginners or anyone looking to refresh their skills. You’ll learn the core techniques that every knitter needs to get started with confidence.

In this class, you’ll learn:

  • How to cast on stitches

  • The knit stitch

  • The purl stitch

  • Basic increases and decreases
