Kalorama Community Picnic
Bring a picnic blanket and join the Kalorama Collective for a relaxed afternoon with friends and neighbours! Enjoy kite-making workshops, craft and face painting, with food and coffee available. It’s also a chance to connect with our local CFA and learn about preparing for the fire season.

Septic safe natural toilet cleaning powder and bowl bombs. Drop em in, leave em for 5 minutes and swish the brush around, and you will have a sparkling bowl that smells citrusy and divine!

Knitting Workshop: Socks
Beginner Knitting 4: Fixing Mistakes
Mistakes are a normal part of knitting - and learning how to fix them is a game changer.
In this session, you’ll learn practical techniques for recovering dropped stitches, knitting backwards to correct mistakes, and unravelling your work safely without panic. We’ll focus on understanding what your stitches are doing, so you can fix problems confidently and keep going with your project.
This class is ideal for beginner knitters who want to feel less stuck when something goes wrong and more in control of their knitting.
You’ll learn:
How to pick up dropped stitches
When and how to knit backwards
Safe ways to unravel your knitting
How to fix mistakes without starting over
Skill Level: Basic knitting knowledge required (knit and purl).
